It has a sharp blade with a diamond shaped cross section. You can block the enemy sword with the bent cross guard. The grip is made of wood, covered with shagreen and wrapped round with steel wire. The main gauche has a length of 52,7 cm with a blade of 36 cm. It is made of 1055 carbon steel and weighs approx. 442 g. It is delivered including a scabbard.
